The internet has given birth to many new terms and phrases that, for many, can be thought of as alien and hard to get your head around. If you are confused by these new words, take heart, you are not the only one!
If, back in the 80’s, I’d have told you that I was checking my email on my mobile, you’d have probably stared at me blankly. Today, it is something that we take for granted.
Lets look at voicing your point of view. Before this could only be done on the radio or television, but now it can also be done over the Internet. The name of this new method of communicating to the masses is blogging? Do you have something to say?
Over the last 5 or 6 years years, blogging has grown to an immense size and poularity, and doesn’t look like slowing down.
Start to think of a few reasons you might want to start a blog. Actually, we should establish a few things first. Websites like Blogger.com and Wordpress.com allow you to sign up for free blogging accounts and start blogging about whatever you please. It is as easy as that. In no time you can have something published online. Anyway, what will be the topic of your blog? Politics, motoring, kitchen cutlery or finance, maybe? The choices are endless and they’re all yours.
Now, if you’re still not clear on what blogging is or why you would try it, you should consider something. You can actually earn from blogging on the web. There are websites like Blogger.com, which is affiliated with Google that let you place relevant ads on your blogs. This means that every time some visits your blog and clicks on an ad you make money.
This is the primary reason that so many people are using blogging. They are using ther knowledge and experience to generate income. So I hope this encourage you to share what you have to say, ther are millions out there who are prepared to listen.
